About Grace Casper, LMFTA

Grace is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist who works with couples, families, and individuals. She specializes in helping clients work through communication issues, ‘stuckness,’ sexual issues, anger management, and social anxiety.

Grace adopts an experiential, emotionally-focused approach to therapy. She believes her job as your therapist is to work herself out of a job, and focuses on helping clients cultivate the tools and skills they need to experience fulfilling, self-actualized relationships with themselves and others.

Grace received her Bachelor’s from the University of Alabama in 2014 and, after a decade working as a creative and a culture lead in startups, earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University in 2024. Outside of work, she spends time writing fiction, practicing aerial yoga, and learning how to knit.

What does ‘third culture’ mean?

The term 'third culture' refers to the unique, hybrid culturation experienced by individuals who spent their childhood and adolescence growing up in cultures different to their family of origin. As a military brat, Grace has always felt this connected to this term.

At Third Culture Therapy, we believe that every relationship is a complex and intricate combination of the individuals within it. Thus, relationships themselves can feel like 'third culture things.’

When we are disconnected within relationships, it can feel painful, isolating, and leave us feeling misunderstood. However, relationships at their healthiest can be harmonious and fulfilling, and help us become the best versions of ourselves. Let us help you get there.
